Welcome to Cross View’s Early Childhood Center

At Cross View's Early Childhood Center (ECC), our mission is simple and meaningful: growing loving followers of Jesus Christ through early care and education. Since opening our doors in 1987, the ECC has provided a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children as young as six weeks old can learn, grow, and thrive. As a ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church, we believe every child is uniquely created and deeply loved by God, and we are honored to partner with families during these important early years.

Families at the ECC quickly discover that we are more than a childcare center — we are a caring community. Our dedicated teachers and staff provide personal attention, engaging learning experiences, and faith-filled encouragement for both children and parents. Through play-based curriculum, age-appropriate Bible teaching, creative exploration, and opportunities for social and emotional growth, we help children build a strong foundation academically, spiritually, and relationally. From our safe classrooms and stimulating learning spaces to our outdoor playground and indoor gym, every part of the ECC is designed to help children flourish.

At the heart of everything we do is the love of Jesus. Children learn foundational truths about God’s love, His promises, and the joy of prayer and worship in ways they can understand and experience every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside families, offering encouragement, support, and connection not only through the ECC, but through the many ministries and opportunities available at Cross View. Whether you are looking for childcare, preschool education, or a church community to call home, we would love to welcome your family to the ECC.

Don’t hesitate to reach out at ecc@crossview.net or 952-941-0009 if you have any questions. We’re here to help.

Learn More About the ECC

Faith is woven into every part of the day at Cross View ECC. Children hear about the love of Jesus through daily Bible stories, prayers, Christian songs, weekly chapel, and caring interactions with teachers and classmates. Our mission is simple and meaningful: Growing loving followers of Christ through early care and education.

Inspired by Jesus’ words, “Let the little children come to me,” we strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children and families feel supported, encouraged, and valued.

We believe children learn best through active exploration and purposeful play. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed with engaging play centers that encourage creativity, problem-solving, movement, communication, and social development. Learning experiences include:

  • Spiritual & Social Living
  • Communication Arts
  • Expressive Arts
  • Wellness
  • Discovery About the World

Children explore dedicated learning spaces including art, blocks, dramatic play, music, science and sensory activities, manipulatives, and library centers—all carefully designed to support developmental growth in fun and meaningful ways.

Cross View's ECC offers flexible programming options for families, including:

  • Full-day, year-round care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years
  • Full-time and part-time enrollment options (based on availability)
  • A school-age summer camp program for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade

Hours
Monday–Friday
7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We encourage families to begin the registration process by scheduling a tour to experience the Cross View Early Childhood Center firsthand and meet our caring staff. If no openings are currently available, families will be placed on a waiting list and contacted when the next spot becomes available. We do not charge a fee to be placed on our waiting list. After a space has been offered and accepted by the family, a one-time $100 registration fee will be charged per child to begin the enrollment process. Before a child begins, an orientation meeting with the family will also be scheduled to help ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into the program.

For more details about any aspect of this process, please email ecc@crossview.net.

Families can feel confident knowing Cross View's ECC is:

As a nonprofit ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church, our center is guided by a church-appointed advisory committee committed to providing exceptional care, education, and support for children and families in our community.
