The Book of Acts
Come and study the Book of Acts! This New Testament book tells the story of how the early Christian church began at Pentecost. It’s jamb-packed with exciting adventures of how the Holy Spirit gave believers the power to share the message of Jesus from Jerusalem to the rest of the world.

Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study
Beginning September 11th, the Friday Morning Men’s Bible study group will begin a new eight-to-ten-week study and discussion of Apologetics (the defense of the Christian Faith). They will be using Lee Strobel’s book A Case for Faith as the foundation for their study. Join them as together they strive to grow in their faith and strengthen their ability to defend and share their faith. They meet at Chick-Fil-A in Eden Prairie from 7:00–8:00 AM each Friday morning.
Community Light School of Discipleship
Wednesday Evenings, 6:30-8:00
Community Light School of Discipleship (CLSD) is a community Bible study that is offered free of charge to individuals and congregations to help them grow as disciples who make disciples. Our goal is to equip God’s people with the best resources the church has to offer so that they might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted them. Genesis 12–50: From Abraham to Joseph

This fall we begin our sixth year of Community Light School of Discipleship with a study of Genesis 12–50: From Abraham to Joseph. These are the foundational stories in the Bible: Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and his Twelve Sons. Then there’s Joseph, who is sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt. This class will not only explore how the rest of the Bible builds on these narratives. It will also apply them to our lives—especially our lives as they are lived out in our families. Spring Session
Christians and Their Culture
March 31 – May 19
The class meets on eight consecutive Wednesdays in the spring of 2027. Dr. Dean Nadasdy, former pastor at Cross View and seminary professor and district president emeritus, teaches the class. The class will address the Biblical understanding of the role of Christians in their culture by addressing such questions as these: Should Christians escape or embrace their culture? How does a Christian converse with the culture? What cues does the culture offer Christians for their witness? To what extent should the language and arts of the culture shape the Christian? What is the role of the Christian in politics? The class includes weekly study and small group discussion guides.
