Rake and Run Youth Fundraiser Sign Up

This is the registration for our youth and their parents (or any others who would like to rake with us) to help out at our Rake and Run Fundraiser.
 

We will meet at church at 8:00am on Saturday, November 7, and rake until about 4:30pm.

 Reality Apologetics Conference Sign Up for Youth at Grace Church

This is the registration for all junior and senior high youth and parents (or other interested adult chaperons) to attend the Reality Apologetics Conference at Grace Church in Eden Prairie on November 13-14th.

Theme is “The Challenge to Reality”
Our event begins with dinner at Cross View at 4:00pm on Friday. We’ll then head to Grace Church for the evening sessions, and head back to Cross View for a sleepover. We’ll head back to Grace on Saturday for the day, and return to Cross View around 7:00pm that night.
 

Registration fee of $85 includes conference ticket, Friday night dinner and all meals on Saturday. Please do not purchase a conference ticket on your own. 
We order as a group to simplify check-in for everyone. Youth funds can be used to cover the cost, just let Hannah know. Scholarships may be available upon request.
 

REFUND POLICY: Reality is a "rain or shine" event. If the event occurs as scheduled we cannot provide a refund if you are unable to attend. In the rare incident that weather or other acts of nature prevents our ability to present Reality, we will make every effort possible to reschedule the event, and your registration will be transferred to the rescheduled event. If we are unable to reschedule, we will provide a refund to your group or apply any funds paid toward future events.

Friday Morning Men's Bible Study on Apologetics - Offsite at Chick-Fil-A/Eden Prairie

Beginning September 11th, the Friday Morning Men's Bible study group will begin a new eight-to-ten-week study and discussion of Apologetics (the defense of the Christian Faith). We will be using Lee Strobel's book, "A Case for Faith,” as the foundation for our studies. Join us together as we strive to grow in our faith and strengthen our ability to defend and share our faith. We meet at Chick-Fil-A in Eden Prairie from 7:00–8:00AM each Friday morning. Community of Light School of Discipleship

“Go and Make Disciples of All Nations…” Matt. 28:18-20
 

A Ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church in Partnership with Concordia St. Paul & the MN South District Community Light School of Discipleship (CLSD) is a community Bible study that is offered free of charge to individuals and congregations to help them grow as disciples who make disciples.  Our goal is to equip God’s people with the best resources the church has to offer so that they might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted them. 
 

This fall we begin our sixth year of CLSD with a study of Genesis 12-50: From Abraham to Joseph. These are the foundational stories in the Bible: Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and his Twelve Sons. Then there’s Joseph who is sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt. This class will not only explore how the rest of the Bible builds on these narratives. It will also apply them to our lives - especially our lives as they are lived out in our families. Taught by Pastor Dr. Reed Lessing. 
 

Where:
OnSite - with discussion groups at Cross View (small groups will meet in various rooms on campus).
Online - with lectures and media will be live-streamed via  https://www.crossview.net/watch/clsd.cfm (you will be able to submit questions to presenters via an online chat).
OnDemand- sessions will be archived and accessible for churches or individuals to use at their convenience.

The Book of Acts 
 

Come and study the Book of Acts! This New Testament book tells the story of how the early Christian church began at Pentecost. It’s jamb-packed with exciting adventures of how the Holy Spirit gave believers the power to share the message of Jesus from Jerusalem to the rest of the world.

Encounters with Jesus:  Studies in the Gospels

This new class will focus on how Jesus transformed people's lives while bringing God's healing presence into the world.

Join those in their twenties and thirties for a time of fellowship and diving into God's Word every Sunday morning.

Join us from 9:30–10:30 AM on Sundays this fall for our Welcome to Cross View series. This is a series of classes for anyone interested in becoming a member and for those who have been members and want a refresher. You’ll get an overview of the Cross View family, learn the heart of the Cross View family, and learn how our heart works itself out in our Cross View Family.

Joining the CV Family Go a little deeper and learn the heart of the Cross View family. In this class, you’ll learn about our Lutheran faith and beliefs.

Going All In With the CV Family Go all in and learn how to get involved with your gifts, talents, and how God created us to Connect, Grow, and Serve.

New Women's Small Group Bible Study: God of the Ordinary

New Women's Small Group/Bible Study starting October 2.  The first book, a study of the book of Ruth, is God of the Ordinary by Alistair Begg.  The book is available at Amazon and usually ships in 1 day. Copies of the box are also available at the Event Registration Desk. You may take a copy and pay Sue Schultz at the first meeting.  The cost is $19.99.

Over the course of 2026 - 2027, there will be 5 sessions running from 3 to 6 weeks at a time.  They group will meet on Friday afternoons from 2:00-3:30 pm at Caribou Coffee at 169 and Bren Road (5816 Lincoln Drive) which is about five minutes from Cross View.
 

THE ART OF MARRIAGE

The Art of Marriage is a new 6-session video-based marriage enrichment seminar produced by Family Life. The seminar will be facilitated by Pastor Steve, starting October 18. The seminar will be held on Sundays at 9:30 AM during the education hour. Stay posted for the upcoming signup as the class is limited to eight couples.

Men's Ministry Sponsored Breakfast - October 24, 2026

The Men’s Ministry will be hosting a breakfast for all on October 24th at Cross View.  This event is for all ages - women, men, children!
 

In 2017, KSTP news anchor Chris Egert made the decision to amputate his foot. In the months that followed, he struggled to find meaning in the loss -until the meaning found him.
 

Join us for fellowship, a meal, and Chris’ inspirational story.
 

Please plan to arrive at 7:45 AM and the event will conclude at 10:00 AM. Cost $35/person or host a table for 6 for $180.

SENIOR ADULT “GIVING THANKS” POTLUCK DINNER

All Cross View senior adults (60+) are invited to a “Giving Thanks” potluck dinner on Sunday, November 1 from 3:30 – 5:30 pm.
The group would love to have you join them in the Fellowship Hall as they rejoice and share how they have been blessed by our Almighty God. CONCORDIA LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL BAND, CHOIR & ORCHESTRA CONCERT

Save the date (Thursday, Nov. 12, 7:00 pm - GCR) for a night of great music from excellent young musicians from Nebraska! 

Sixty-five students from Concordia High School in Omaha are excited to share some Band, Choir, and Orchestra pieces with you. The concert will include a variety of music (patriotic, sacred, and general selections) and will feature the ensembles together as well as separately.
