FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN (FMSC) PACKATHON: 

The Chanhassen FMSC packing site is hosting its 2nd annual 15-hour Packathon. The event is on Saturday August 22 and starts at 9:00 am with another packing session every 1.5 hours. Thelast session begins at 10:30 pm and ends at Midnight. The goal is to pack over 600,000 meals, enough to feed over 1700 kids for an entire year.
 

This is a great opportunity to come together as a congregation to be the hands and feet of Jesus. And the opportunity to serve together as a small group, a family or a group of friends and neighbors. Cross View Early Childhood Center has openings for School Age Care (SAC) “Summer Camp” this summer in our licensed school-age program. Program dates are June 8 through August 27, 2026, with a minimum enrollment of four weeks. 

The SAC program serves students in Kindergarten through 4th grade with three, four or five day care options. SAC students spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy fun activities throughout the summer, including external field trips. 

If you are interested in enrolling your child, please email tania@crossview.net so we can send you a registration packet and additional program information. Also, feel free to share this information with others you know that are looking for summer care for their school-age children. Wrestling with God: Interpreting Difficult Old Testament Passages
 

The Old Testament is difficult to understand. How can the vengeful, angry God of the Old Testament be the same as the comforting, loving God of the New Testament?

How can these old narratives of death, revenge, and morally wrong choices guide you as a Christian? This study will guide you through the Old Testament to understand difficult and overlooked idea like violence in the book of Joshua, Israelite Sexual Laws, God’s Change of Mind as well as His Suffering. These and many more topics will be discussed and taught.
 

Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am in the Sanctuary from June 21 – August 2, 2026. Taught by Pastor Reed.  Online available.
 

Friday Morning Men's Bible Study on Apologetics - Offsite at Chick-Fil-A/Eden Prairie Starting September 11, 2026

Beginning September 11th, the Friday Morning Men's Bible study group will begin a new eight-to-ten-week study and discussion of Apologetics (the defense of the Christian Faith). We will be using Lee Strobel's book, "A Case for Faith,” as the foundation for our studies. Join us together as we strive to grow in our faith and strengthen our ability to defend and share our faith. We meet at Chick-Fil-A in Eden Prairie from 7:00–8:00AM each Friday morning. FALL KICK-OFF IS COMING! 

Our theme this year is “Every Part Matters”. More than a theme, it is a reminder of who God has made us to be together! So, this year on Sunday, September 13, we will celebrate Fall Kick-off TOGETHER in a single, blended worship service at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary. 

Following the worship service, we’ll all learn from our ministry staff about their vision for our year ahead and then we will share a meal and fellowship together in the GCR, starting around
11:45 am. Following the meal, we will move outdoors for games and activities for people of all ages, including a bounce house!
