Volunteer for Oktoberfest - October 10, 2026

Thank you for volunteering to help at Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 10, 2026!

All volunteer shifts are 3:00-4:30pm or 4:30-6:00pm, unless otherwise noted. 

If you aren’t helping with set up, please arrive at Cross View at 2:00pm.

- Setup Crew (1:00-3:00pm)- help set up for the sign-in, meal, or games and activities
 

- Hosts/Greeters - sign-in and welcome guests; monitor building/bathrooms
 

- Food Service – help with serving food and beverages
 

- Games & Activities – help to monitor and run kid games
 

- Parking Patrol – help direct people from McCauley Trail in and out of the parking lot safely
 

- Clean Up Crew (6:00-7:30pm) – help with clean-up of our campus and making sure we are ready for Sunday worship

Rake and Run Youth Fundraiser Sign Up

This is the registration for our youth and their parents (or any others who would like to rake with us) to help out at our Rake and Run Fundraiser.
 

We will meet at church at 8:00am on Saturday, November 7, and rake until about 4:30pm.

 Reality Apologetics Conference Sign Up for Youth at Grace Church

This is the registration for all junior and senior high youth and parents (or other interested adult chaperons) to attend the Reality Apologetics Conference at Grace Church in Eden Prairie on November 13-14th.

Theme is “The Challenge to Reality”
Our event begins with dinner at Cross View at 4:00pm on Friday. We’ll then head to Grace Church for the evening sessions, and head back to Cross View for a sleepover. We’ll head back to Grace on Saturday for the day, and return to Cross View around 7:00pm that night.
 

Registration fee of $85 includes conference ticket, Friday night dinner and all meals on Saturday. Please do not purchase a conference ticket on your own. 
We order as a group to simplify check-in for everyone. Youth funds can be used to cover the cost, just let Hannah know. Scholarships may be available upon request.
 

REFUND POLICY: Reality is a "rain or shine" event. If the event occurs as scheduled we cannot provide a refund if you are unable to attend. In the rare incident that weather or other acts of nature prevents our ability to present Reality, we will make every effort possible to reschedule the event, and your registration will be transferred to the rescheduled event. If we are unable to reschedule, we will provide a refund to your group or apply any funds paid toward future events.

Friday Morning Men's Bible Study on Apologetics - Offsite at Chick-Fil-A/Eden Prairie Starting September 11, 2026

Beginning September 11th, the Friday Morning Men's Bible study group will begin a new eight-to-ten-week study and discussion of Apologetics (the defense of the Christian Faith). We will be using Lee Strobel's book, "A Case for Faith,” as the foundation for our studies. Join us together as we strive to grow in our faith and strengthen our ability to defend and share our faith. We meet at Chick-Fil-A in Eden Prairie from 7:00–8:00AM each Friday morning. Community of Light School of Discipleship 

(A Ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church in Partnership with Concordia St. Paul & the MN South District.)

“Go and Make Disciples of All Nations…” Matt. 28:18-20
 

A Ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church in Partnership with Concordia St. Paul & the MN South District Community Light School of Discipleship (CLSD) is a community Bible study that is offered free of charge to individuals and congregations to help them grow as disciples who make disciples.  Our goal is to equip God’s people with the best resources the church has to offer so that they might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted them. 
 

This fall we begin our sixth year of CLSD with a study of Genesis 12-50: From Abraham to Joseph. These are the foundational stories in the Bible: Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and his Twelve Sons. Then there’s Joseph who is sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt. This class will not only explore how the rest of the Bible builds on these narratives. It will also apply them to our lives - especially our lives as they are lived out in our families. Taught by Pastor Dr. Reed Lessing. 
 

Where:
OnSite - with discussion groups at Cross View (small groups will meet in various rooms on campus).
Online - with lectures and media will be live-streamed via  https://www.crossview.net/watch/clsd.cfm (you will be able to submit questions to presenters via an online chat).
OnDemand- sessions will be archived and accessible for churches or individuals to use at their convenience.

The Book of Acts 
 

Come and study the Book of Acts! This New Testament book tells the story of how the early Christian church began at Pentecost. It’s jamb-packed with exciting adventures of how the Holy Spirit gave believers the power to share the message of Jesus from Jerusalem to the rest of the world.

Parent Faith & Fellowship

Come connect with current friends and meet new ones at Cross View while your kids are in Sunday School. The group will start with a short devotion, followed by plenty of time to discuss successes, struggles, and strategies in our homes.

Come and have a relaxing lunch on Thursday, September 24, 12:00 – 3:00 pm (Fellowship Hall) followed by fun and laughter as the group plays the card game, “Swoop!” Sandwiches, snacks, and sweets will be provided.

The Art of Marriage is a new 6-session video-based marriage enrichment seminar produced by Family Life. The seminar will be facilitated by Pastor Steve, starting October 18. The seminar will be held on Sundays at 9:30 AM during the education hour. Stay posted for the upcoming signup as the class is limited to eight couples.
