Summer 2025 Events
A New Worldview Bible Study
Beginning on June 8 at 9:30 AM the Sunday Adult Bible class will compare the claims of Christianity with competing worldviews such as Secularism, The New Age Movement, Marxism, Islam, and Postmodernism. These studies will demonstrate that the Bible holds up when it is attacked, denied, misinterpreted, and ignored by these movements. The class will be taught by Pastor Reed and meet in the Sanctuary and will be available via live-streaming and on-demand.
We have a big opportunity to open our arms (and parking lot) to our community for a block party on July 12th from 5:30–7:30 PM. We are partnering with POBLO to create a fun summer gathering for all ages! We will need LOTS of help to make the event run smoothly. Mark your calendar and watch for more details on how to help. Click here to sign up to help.
Please pray for this event to be a doorway for the gospel to be shared with our neighbors. Please contact Amy Gundermann at amy@crossview.net with questions.
Hope in the Wilderness: Practical Insights from the Book of Numbers
In between. It’s a seminal idea in Numbers, describing Israel’s journey to a tee. Moses and crew are bounded by Egypt to the south and Canaan to the north. They’re straddling salvation accomplished (at the Red Sea) and salvation to come (crossing the Jordan River into the promised land).
Does this sound familiar? You and I also live between our past and our glorious future. In Holy Baptism, God began a good work in us. He will complete it on the day Christ returns. In the meantime? Moses teaches us what to avoid, what to do, and how to thrive during life’s in between times.
Numbers isn’t a quick jog around the block or a short trip to the store. It’s a long journey —but a journey worth taking. And you’re invited!
Classes will be taught by Pastor Reed and begin July 13 and run through August 17, 2025. Sunday mornings in the sanctuary starting at 9:30 AM. Also, available via live-streaming and on demand.

Started in 2018 in response to the need among high school students in Minneapolis for food assistance, the organization now has volunteers delivering more than 5,500 meals per week to individuals and families throughout the metro area. This ministry is volunteer dependent and receives no government assistance.

Join us for an evening of music with singer/songwriter Noah Gundermann on Thursday, July 31 at 7:00 pm in the Cross View Sanctuary. The one-hour free concert will include original songs, as well as a few favorite hymns. Noah will unpack the joys and frustrations of life, using music as both prayer and proclamation.
Come as you are for this informal concert and be reminded once again that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Noah is the Director of Parish Music at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo, MN. You can find his music on all streaming platforms. He will have CDs and stickers available for purchase after the concert.
