Spring 2023 Events

A free community Bible study for equipping God’s people with His resources so that you might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted you. Onsite and online. From February 23 - April 27, the topic will be “The Stories in our Community” with Dr. William Utech, Assistant to the President, Missions, and Dr. Phillip Johnson, Assistant to the President, Mission Formation, both of MN South District, LCMS. Click here to register.

We will be starting a new onsite (Room 218) study on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 9:30 am (usual meeting dates are the first Monday of the month, but move to the second Monday to accommodate holidays). The new study book is entitled “Measured by Grace” by Sharla Fritz. The focus of this study is how God measures our worth: by His Grace and not as the world does. Questions? Contact Marcy Nordhus (mpnordhus@gmail.com). Click here to register.

Jeremiah served as a prophet in the most turbulent times of Israel's history.  The last remnant of 12 tribes of David and Solomon's  Kingdom perished. Throughout his life, Jeremiah stood alone declaring God's messages of doom. He preached about all that contributed to Judah's destruction. God's message through Jeremiah is one of judgment, and also hope. Join us for the Thursday morning Bible study that meets Thursdays, 9:30 to 11:00 am at Cross View and online via Zoom. Contact Charles Daenzer @952-200-0802 for information.

Using this Lee Strobel 4-week series, we will examine how we can know the biblical accounts of Jesus’ resurrection are accurate by objectively looking at the evidence surrounding Jesus’ death, the evidence of the empty tomb, and the evidence of the many witnesses who saw him alive after his crucifixion.  Mar 12 - Apr 2, 2023 (9:30 am - 10:30 am). Onsite and Online.  The teaching leader for this class will be Pastor Reed Lessing.  Click here to register.
