Learning to Lamentations Bible Study
Based upon Pastor Reed’s new Concordia Publishing House commentary on Lamentations, this study will examine the book from a number of practical standpoints.
- Does God welcome our protests and laments?
- How important is it to find our voice and tell our story of suffering?
- Is there a better way to deal with trauma than numbing the pain with fantasies, escapes, and denials?
- And what do we learn from Jesus and Paul about laments?
Classes start January 4, 2026, and run through February 15, 2026. The class will be meeting each Sunday at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary. The class will also be streamed.

Cross View will host its 3rd Feed My Starving Children MobilePack on Jan 30-31, 2026 at Cross View.
Given prior year's success, we are committing to even higher goals so that we can feed more children! The goal is to pack 124,000+ meals, feeding 341 children for 1 year.
We need your Unwavering support to achieve our goals. Specifically, 624 volunteers and donations of $37,000 to cover the cost of the food are required. A $50 donation per person is suggested, but not mandatory. We want everyone who wants to pack meals to join in this fun event.
Act soon! MobilePack events are open to anyone and our event will be publicized on the Feed My Starving Children website after December 26.
