A free community Bible study for equipping God’s people with His resources so that you might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted you. Onsite and online. From September 15 – November 10, the topic will be “This is My Story, This is My Song: Insights From Exodus” with Dr. Reed Lessing, Professor of Theology and Ministry, Concordia University, St. Paul, MN. Click here to register.
Perhaps no story in all of scripture is more familiar than the Christmas story of Luke 2. With such familiarity, it’s easy for even the most seasoned of Biblical students to make assumptions about the text based on what they think they know. It’s easy for one to “read into” the text, rather than to read the text.
In the class “Clear View of the Birth of Jesus” we will join Middle Eastern scholar Kenneth Bailey for four video lectures followed by Bible study and discussion. We will take a fresh look at the text, attempting to strip away “additions” that have crept in over the centuries, recapturing the beauty and simplicity of the birth of Christ.
Join us on Sunday mornings, November 27 through December 18, onsite in Rooms 209 – 211 as Pastor Wheeler and Phil Johnson lead the discussion. Questions? Contact Phil Johnson (email@example.com). Click here to register.
Cross View is hosting a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack™ event this December with the goal of packing 101,088 meals to feed 277 Children for one year. We need about 500 volunteers to meet our goal. We are inviting Cross View members ages 5 and older, friends, family, neighbors, classmates, coworkers to volunteer.
To cover the cost of the ingredients for these meals, and as our 2022 Love Gift, a donation of $50 per volunteer is suggested.
Sign-up and donate online at give.fmsc.org/crossview for one or more of the seven 2-hour shifts on December 2 and 3, 2022. Donations can also be made by writing a check to Cross View Lutheran Church with Feed My Starving Children or FMSC in the memo line.
If you have any questions, feel free to connect with Volunteer Coordinator Dan Battcher at 952-999-1676 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

If you bring a game, please be prepared to show others how to play. Join us for fun and fellowship every second Sunday of the month at church! The new study book is entitled “Measured by Grace” by Sharla Fritz. The focus of this study is how God measures our worth: by His Grace and not as the world does. Questions? Contact Marcy Nordhus (email@example.com). Click here to register.
