Wednesday Midweek Recharge Line-Up


Make sure to reserve Wednesday evenings to “Recharge” for the rest of the week! Recharge will resume September 10 and continue throughout the fall. 

Activities include:
•    Handbell Choir | Sanctuary, 5:30–6:30 PM
•    Kidstitute: 5-years-old through Grade 6 at 6:30–7:30 PM
•    Confirmation: 7th–8th Grade, Junior High Room at 6:30–8:00 PM
•    Community Light School of Discipleship: Lecture and Q & A in the GCR at 6:30–7:25 PM, Discussion Groups at 7:25–8:00 PM
•    Adult Choir: Sanctuary, 6:45–8:15 PM
•    Women’s Ensemble: 8:15–8:40 PM (doesn't meet every week)
 

Community of Light School of Discipleship (A Ministry of Cross View Lutheran Church in Partnership with Concordia St. Paul & the MN South District.)

Community Light School of Discipleship (CLSD) is a community Bible study that is offered free of charge to individuals and congregations to help them grow as disciples who make disciples.  Our goal is to equip God’s people with the best resources the church has to offer so that they might “go” and make disciples wherever God has planted them.

Our 2025 fall class will be "Genesis 1-11: From Creation to Confusion" with Rev. Dr. Reed Lessing.

Where:

OnSite - with discussion groups at Cross View (small groups will meet in various rooms on campus).
Online - with lectures and media will be live-streamed via  https://crossviewedina.online.church (you will be able to submit questions to presenters via an online chat).
OnDemand- sessions will be archived and accessible for churches or individuals to use at their convenience.
When:

September 10, 2025 through November 19, 2025
No class October 15
Onsite and livestream - Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Archived meetings accessed by offsite participants on demand.

The Book of Malachi 

Our sermon series for our fall stewardship emphasis is entitled Malachi: Unwavering Stewardship. To put this series into context and to gain a better of this last book of the Bible, join us for a three-week study (November 9, 16 and 23 at 9:30AM in the Sanctuary) on this incredible oracle that continues to speak boldly to every generation.  Available online and on demand.

All Cross View senior adults are invited to join us for an evening of “Appetizers and Advent Alleluias” on Friday, December 5, 5:00-7:00PM. Please bring an appetizer to share as we welcome in the holiday season by being together in Christian fellowship. The evening will close as Judy Campen leads us in singing joyful Advent and Christmas hymns.

Light in the Darkness

Advent is a THE season of light! A light like none other entered the darkness of our world over 2000 years ago. Come and join us for a four-week journey through John 1:1–18 (November 30,  December 7, 14 and 21  at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary) as we ponder the mystery of the incarnation— the first and greatest gift of Christmas.
